Who are the UK’s top music earners?

McCartney’s estimated £495 million fortune puts him at fourth on the list of UK music millionaires, behind musical theatre impresarios Lord Lloyd Webber (£680 million) and Sir Cameron Mackintosh (£675 million), and Zomba Records co-founder Clive Alder (£1.3 billion).
The next musician on the list is Sir Elton John (£195 million) in the seventh spot, and the remaining top ten spots are taken by Sir Mick Jagger (£190 million), Sting (£180 million) and Keith Richards (£175 million). |

Above these music legends are tv moguls Simon Cowell (£200 million) at number six and Simon Fuller (£375 million) at number five.
