The Beatles Stereo Vinyl Box Set
Written by admin on November 12, 2012 – 12:58 pm -The Beatles original studio album remasters are finally released on vinyl this week, three years after they debuted on CD.
The 14-disc box set contains the 12 UK original albums, plus “Past Masters Volumes One and Two” and the US version of “Magical Mystery Tour”.
The complete list of albums is:
- Please Please Me
- With The Beatles
- A Hard Day’s Night
- Beatles For Sale
- Help!
- Rubber Soul
- Revolver
- Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
- Magical Mystery Tour
- The Beatles (The White Album) (2LP)
- Yellow Submarine
- Let It Be
- Abbey Road
- Past Masters (2LP).
The first four albums are making their US debut as stereo LPs. “Rubber Soul” and “Help!” will use the stereo remixes supervised by George Martin a quarter of a century ago.
The set will also include a 252-page hardbound book written by radio producer Kevin Howlett, with a full chapter devoted to each album.
Only 50,000 copies of the box set have been produced for worldwide distribution. The mono versions of the remastered vinyl albums will be released next year.
The albums are also available individually.
