Graham Nash to write memoir

Graham Nash will chronicle his 50-year music career in a memoir due to be published next year.

The book will cover Nash’s journey from growing up in Salford, England, through to his time with the Hollies and his relocation to Los Angeles where he was a founding member of Crosby, Stills and Nash.

OBEs for Nash and Cale

Two veteran musicians appeared in the Queen’s annual birthday honours list.

OBEs (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) went to co-founder of the Velvet Underground, John Cale, and to Graham Nash, who was a member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash.

John Cale gets OBE Cale co-founded the Velvet Underground with Lou Reed in 1965 and appeared on their first two albums, “Velvet Underground and Nico” and “White Light/White Heat.”

More acts added to Hard Rock Calling closing night

Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crowded House and Elvis Costello have been added to the closing night line-up on the main stage of the Hard Rock Calling Festival on Sunday, June 27. The Festival takes place in London’s Hyde Park.

Paul McCartney will headline the closing night, the day after playing Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
