Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crowded House and Elvis Costello have been added to the closing night line-up on the main stage of the Hard Rock Calling Festival on Sunday, June 27. The Festival takes place in London’s Hyde Park.

Paul McCartney will headline the closing night, the day after playing Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Crosby, Stills and Nash, will be the penultimate act. The legendary folk rockers are currently on a tour of the US and will take the tour to the UK and Ireland next month.

Neil Finn of Crowded House is clearly looking forward to the Hard Rock Calling appearance:

“This is a day that I wouldn’t want to miss for all the tea in China. I will be hearing songs from the masters McCartney, Crosby, Stills & Nash that I sang as a child and emulated as a teenager, and Elvis who laid down the gauntlet to all of us as we formed our bands. The scene is set, great music both modern and timeless…. and, God as if that wasn’t good enough, we get to play too!”

This will be Elvis Costello’s first Hard Rock Calling appearance. Costello is currently on tour and will also play gigs in a number of other UK cities, including Birmingham, Oxford, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cardiff and Gateshead. Click here for Elvis Costello ticket information.

The Pepsi Max Stage will be headlined by singer-songwriter Joshua Radin, who will be preceded by:

  • Joe Echo
  • Little Steve’s Underground Garage Review, featuring The Breakers, The Cocktail Slippers and The Len Price 3, hosted by Little Steve Van Zandt
  • Lissie
  • Tiffany Paige
  • The Coronas.

Joe Echo said:

“Yet another amazing Hard Rock Calling line-up and I’m totally blown away to be playing Hyde Park with the legend that is Macca.”
