“Band on the Run” gets the deluxe treatment
Written by admin on November 2, 2010 – 9:11 am -| Paul McCartney’s classic album “Band on the Run” has been reissued in four editions today. This is the first of a series of planned reissues of McCartney’s solo and Wings albums.
“Band on the Run” was recorded in Lagos, Nigeria in September/October 1973, with overdubs and orchestral tracks added in London later in October. It was Wings’ third album and McCartney’s fifth since the break-up of the Beatles. |
