Ronnie Spector bringing “Beyond the Beehive” to the UK
Written by admin on February 15, 2014 – 9:54 am -Ronnie Spector has announced that her “Beyond the Beehive” stage show will debut in the UK at the Women of the World (WOW) Festival at London’s SouthBank Centre on March 9.

Spector posted the following enthusiastic message on her Facebook page:
“50 years ago, the Ronettes and I landed in Heathrow airport and got off the plane-that was the exact moment I knew we had made it! The magical times touring the UK. Walking in the Rain in London. For a girl from humble beginnings, this was it. I am so excited to debut my ‘Beyond the Beehive’ show at Queen Elizabeth Hall in SouthBank Centre on March 9th, at the WOW Festival. It’s a dream come true for me, and I can’t stop crying (sniffle sniffle).”
“Beyond The Beehive” chronicles Ronnie’s 50-year rock ‘n’ roll journey through words, pictures, video and classic songs. Tickets are available now from the SouthBank Centre website, ranging in price from £20 to £25.
