Sir Paul McCartney will perform a concert at the White House in July, after President Obama has presented him with the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.

McCartney is the third recipient of the Gershwin award, after Paul Simon in 2007 and Stevie Wonder in 2009, both of whom are expected to take part in the McCartney concert, along with Elvis Costello and Dave Grohl.
