The previous night, McCartney performed in front of 400 students at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Queens. The session was hosted by radio presenter Jim Kerr of Clear Channel Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3). McCartney opened the show with “Eight Days A Week”, “Save Us”, “New” and “Jet” and then paused for a question and answer session with the students. For the second half of the show, McCartney performed “We Can Work It Out”, “Obla Di, Obla Da”, “Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite”, “Blackbird”, “Lady Madonna”, “Back In The USSR”, “Band On The Run” and “Hey Jude”. The gig will be broadcast on Clear Channel’s Oldies, Classic Rock, Classic Hits, and AC stations at 9pm EST on October 14, and can also be heard on iHeartRadio.com the following night.

McCartney’s week began with an appearance on Monday night’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” during which he performed “Save Us”, “New” and “Lady Madonna”.

The album “New” will feature 12 brand new songs, with a number of collaborations. The title track was released on single in August and the new single “Queenie Eye” debuted on radio this week.
