Christine McVie reunites with Fleetwood Mac in London
Written by admin on September 27, 2013 – 10:56 am -Christine McVie reunited with Fleetwood Mac at London’s O2 on Wednesday night for the first of two appearances with her former bandmates. She left the band in 1998 and has largely kept out of the limelight since.
McVie took to the stage to perform the classic hit “Don’t Stop” from the band’s 1977 album “Rumours”. The performance was captured by a fan and uploaded to YouTube.

The album is released worldwide on October 15, the same date as the 15-disc career-spanning “Paul Simon – The Complete Albums Collection” which features Simon’s 12 studio albums and two full-length live concert recordings.

John Fogerty teams up with Mumford & Sons
Written by admin on September 19, 2013 – 10:02 pm -John Fogerty performed a series of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics during a surprise collaboration with Mumford & Sons at their Gentlemen of the Road Stopover in St. Augustine, Florida on Saturday night. The band Fun. had been scheduled to play, but singer Nate Ruess was unwell so Mumford & Sons contacted Fogerty to ask him to step in. He was on a plane from LA within hours and began rehearsing with the band on Saturday morning.

Bruce Springsteen pays tribute to South American musicians
Written by admin on September 19, 2013 – 8:09 pm -The South American leg of Bruce Springsteen’s Wrecking Ball tour has featured some surprise covers of songs by South American artists who have inspired him.
“Manifiesto” – Bruce Springsteen
Springsteen opened the South American leg of his Wrecking Ball tour on September 12 with a gig in Santiago, Chile, during which he performed Victor Jara’s “Manifiesto”. Springsteen also paid tribute to Jara in Spanish, noting that the musician remains a great inspiration. Jara was a poet, singer-songwriter, and political activist who was murdered in 1973 after the socialist Chilean Government was overthrown by a military coup.
