Lou Reed confirms UK gigs
Written by admin on May 25, 2011 – 6:00 am -Lou Reed will play two gigs in the UK this summer, either side of his appearance at the Hop Farm Festival.
Reed has announced that he will play:
- Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on July 1 – click here for ticket information
- London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo on July 4 – click here for ticket information.
| The Hop Farm Festival takes place at Paddock Wood, Kent, over three days from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3. The headliners for the three nights are The Eagles, Morrissey and Prince, respectively.
Reed will appear on the Saturday night, before Iggy and the Stooges and Morrissey. Patti Smith and Chrissie Hynde are also on Saturday’s bill. |

After the UK gigs, Reed will play a number of dates in France and Italy throughout July.
