Jimmy Page enters Mojo Hall of Fame

Former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page was inducted into the Mojo Hall Of Fame at an awards ceremony on Thursday night.
This was the seventh annual Mojo awards and Page joined a disparate bunch in Mojo’s Hall of Fame, namely: Mott the Hopple, The Specials, The Doors, Elton John, Madness and Arthur Lee. |

New material
Page has told BBC 6 Music that he is working on new material in the studio. He is now with IE management and says he is exploring new ideas and collaborations:
| “I’m just looking forward to making some music and surprising people with it. It won’t be just teaming up with lots of people who are [big] names. I’ve got an idea of something which I’ve had for a long time and now’s the time to do it.” |
The guitar legend said that the new material should be available later this year.
Former Led Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant also has new material on the way. His Band of Joy album is due on September 13.
