The Beach Boys’ 50th anniversary celebrations continue next month with the release of two greatest hits collections and remastered editions of 12 Beach Boys albums.

The single disc “The Beach Boys: Greatest Hits” features 20 of the band’s most popular songs, including “California Girls,” “Good Vibrations,” “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “God Only Knows,” “Kokomo,” and their latest single “That’s Why God Made The Radio”.

The deluxe, 2-CD “The Beach Boys: Greatest Hits – 50 Big Ones” includes all the big hits, plus the title track from “That’s Why God Made The Radio” and a new single version of “Isn’t It Time” from the new album. The deluxe collection also includes an expanded booklet and seven postcards.

Both collections are released on September 24 in the UK/Canada and October 9 in the US.

A career-spanning Beach Boys 50th Anniversary box set is also scheduled for release later this year by Capitol/EMI.

Ahead of these titles comes the release on DVD and Blu-ray next week of “The Beach Boys – Doin’ It Again”. The hour-long documentary includes recent interviews with the band, live performances from the 50th anniversary tour, behind the scenes footage from the making of the new album “That’s Why God Made the Radio” and never-before-seen footage from the 1966 “Good Vibrations” recording sessions.
