Art Garfunkel The Singer A two-CD collection celebrating Art Garfunkel’s legendary career will be released by Sony Legacy on August 18.

“Art Garfunkel – The Singer” is a 34-track collection that includes seven Simon and Garfunkel classics, and an impressive gathering of some of Garfunkel’s strongest solo performances, including two newly recorded performances for this release (“Lena” and “Long Way Home”).

The album was originally scheduled for an April release, with a substantially different tracklist (eight S&G songs have been dropped). The final tracklist was collated by Art Garfunkel, who also provided track-by-track annotations that appear in handwritten form in the booklet.
