Among the stand-out lots are George Harrison’s leather jacket (est. £90,000 – 120,000) and leather boots (est. £12,000 – 15,000) worn during his days in Hamburg and at the Cavern Club.

The Who join GRAMMY nominations show line-up

The Who have been added to the line-up of “The GRAMMY® Nominations Concert Live!! – Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night®,” which takes place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday, December 5.

The concert special marks the fifth time nominations for the annual GRAMMY Awards® will be announced live on primetime television.

The line-up for the show also includes country music singer/songwriter Hunter Hayes, The Band Perry and Dierks Bentley in a special tribute to Johnny Cash, Luke Bryan, FUN., three-time GRAMMY-winning group Maroon 5, and three-time GRAMMY winner Ne-Yol. The hour-long special will be hosted by two-time GRAMMY winner LL COOL J and six-time GRAMMY winner Taylor Swift.

The hour-long telecast will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 10–11 p.m. ET/PT (9 p.m. Central). Those in attendance at the Bridgestone Arena will then witness a one-hour concert by Maroon 5. Tickets for “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! – Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night” are available now via ticketmaster.

The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10, 2013, and will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Chris Stamp, former manager of The Who, dies aged 70

Chris Stamp, former manager of The Who and founder of Track Records, died from cancer on Saturday (Nov. 24) at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He was 70-years-old.

Stamp was born in the East-End of London on July 7, 1942. He was one of five siblings, including older brother Terence Stamp, who would become a highly successful actor.
