Beach Boys to play at 54th Grammy Awards ceremony

Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks will perform together for the first time in over 15 years at the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday.

The band will be joined by Grammy nominees Foster The People and Maroon 5 for the performance.

The Beach Boys announce 50th anniversary reunion

The surviving founders of The Beach Boys will reunite in 2012 for a global 50th Anniversary celebration, including a new studio album and 50-date tour.

The tour, featuring Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks, will begin in April with a headlining performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (“Jazz Fest”). Other dates are yet to be announced.
