The Nation’s Favourite Elvis Song
Written by admin on November 8, 2013 – 7:22 am -Some of Elvis Presley’s finest hits will be showcased on ITV1 tonight during a 90-minute special titled “The Nation’s Favourite Elvis Song”.
The show features a countdown of the top 20 Elvis songs, as voted for by the British public. There will also be commentaries from Elvis’ ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, and daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, and a number of high-profile fans of Elvis, including Michael Bublé, Sir Cliff Richard, Suzi Quatro, Michael Ball, Englebert Humperdink and Cerys Matthews.

Paul Simon and Sting to tour together in 2014

The ceremony took place yesterday (Nov 4) morning, with hundreds of fans in attendance.

David Bowie releases “Love Is Lost” video ahead of “The Next Day – Extra”
Written by admin on October 31, 2013 – 5:42 pm -David Bowie did not appear in person at the Mercury Prize award ceremony on Wednesday night, but did use the occasion to premiere the music video for the song “Love Is Lost”.
Bowie was nominated for the Mercury Prize for his album “The Next Day,” along with Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, Laura Mvula, and the winner James Blake.

Lou Reed dies aged 71
Written by admin on October 27, 2013 – 7:20 pm -Legendary singer and songwriter Lou Reed died of a liver-related ailment in New York on Sunday morning (Oct 27). The former Velvet Underground frontman had a liver transplant earlier this year.
