Taylor Swift to play Joni Mitchell?
Written by admin on April 23, 2012 – 7:21 pm -Taylor Swift is on the shortlist to portray Joni Mitchell in an adaptation of Sheila Weller’s “Girls Like Us,” which chronicles the careers of Joni Mitchell, Carole King and Carly Simon. Alison Pill has auditioned to play the part of King, according to Variety.
If this goes ahead, it will be Swift’s first starring role, following her small part in “Valentine’s Day” and voice-only role in the animated movie “The Lorax”.
The movie will be directed by Katie Jacobs, who is an executive producer on the hit television series “House”.
