The Beach Boys announce 50th anniversary reunion
Written by admin on December 16, 2011 – 6:16 pm -| The surviving founders of The Beach Boys will reunite in 2012 for a global 50th Anniversary celebration, including a new studio album and 50-date tour.
The tour, featuring Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks, will begin in April with a headlining performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (“Jazz Fest”). Other dates are yet to be announced. |

Brian Wilson to reunite with Beach Boys?
Written by admin on June 21, 2010 – 9:30 pm -| Brian Wilson is likely to reunite with the Beach Boys for writing and recording projects in the near future, according to Mike Love.
It’s not clear whether or not there are plans for Wilson to join the band on tour. |

Don’t Fight the Sea – New ‘Beach Boys’ song
Written by admin on March 1, 2010 – 11:31 am -| Al Jardine’s forthcoming solo CD, “A Postcard From California”, will include a Beach Boys song from 1978 that has never been released.
The basic track for “Don’t Fight the Sea” was recorded in 1978, along with the late Carl Wilson’s vocals. Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine have recently completed the overdubs. |
