Listen to unreleased Hendrix track “Earth Blues”
Written by admin on February 19, 2013 – 10:18 am -| Legacy Recordings have provided a preview of Jimi Hendrix’s “Earth Blues,” which is one of 12 previously unreleased songs on the forthcoming album “People, Hell and Angels”.
“People, Hell and Angels” features material recorded between 1968 and 1970 as Hendrix was preparing material for the ill-fated “First Rays of the New Rising Sun” album. |

The project has been co-produced by the usual team of Janie Hendrix, John McDermott and original Hendrix engineer Eddie Kramer.
This is the second track to be previewed from the album. Last November, the track “Somewhere” was previewed in a video presented by Kramer as part of the Hendrix 70th Birthday celebrations.

“People, Hell and Angels” will be released on March 5 on CD and vinyl in North America. The CD debuts on April 1 in the UK and the vinyl edition on 4 March. The MP3 edition is available on March 1 in the US and UK.
“Somewhere” is out now as an MP3 or CD single.
