Hendrix reissues to include “Winterland” box set
Written by admin on June 20, 2011 – 9:13 pm -| The latest batch of Jimi Hendrix titles is on the way from Sony Legacy in September, including what looks to be an impressive four CD deluxe edition of “Winterland,” originally released in 1987 as a single CD. “Winterland” features a show recorded at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco in 1968. The box set contains an additional 24 songs, an interview with Hendrix and a 36-page booklet. |
