Nowhere Boy trailer

Nowhere Boy soundtrack
The official soundtrack album for Nowhere Boy is a 2-CD set featuring original tracks recorded for the film by the band who play the Quarrymen characters, as well as original recordings from artists who inspired the young John Lennon, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran.

The choices seem a little random at times – eg Elvis’ Hound Dog was a big favourite of Lennon’s and should probably be there in place of Shake, Rattle and Roll – but it’s a fine collection of songs. You can hear samples below.

Nowhere Boy DVD and Blu-ray
