Ronnie Wood hints at Rolling Stones reunion Ronnie Wood has told Metro that he hopes the Rolling Stones will regroup in 2011 and that he would be keen for the band to play Glastonbury.

The band hasn’t recorded or toured together since the Bigger Bang tour concluded in 2007.

The Rolling Stones have been linked with Glastonbury many times, but never played the festival. When asked about it, Ronnie said “I’d love to do it” and added “I’m always up for the festivals. As far as the Stones are concerned we haven’t had a get-together for three years but it’s high time.”

Ronnie Wood reunited with the Faces this year for some gigs, with Mick Hucknall standing in for Rod Stewart on lead vocals. Wood has also been busy hosting his radio show on Absolute Classic Rock, which airs Monday to Thursday at 4pm, repeated at 9pm and Fridays at 8pm.
