This week’s Song of the Week is Thin Lizzy’s rock classic “The Boys Are Back In Town.”

“The Boys Are Back In Town” opened side two of Thin Lizzy’s sixth studio album “Jailbreak” which was released in March 1976. The following month saw the release of “The Boys Are Back In Town” on single in the UK, backed with “Emerald.” In some countries, including the US and Canada, it was backed with “Jailbreak.”

Gary Moore dies in Spanish hotel

Guitar great Gary Moore was found dead earlier today at the Kempinski Hotel in Estepona, Spain. The 58-year-old had been on holiday with his girlfriend.

Moore is best known for his on-and-off career with Thin Lizzy and a number of successful solo projects, including the great album “Still Got the Blues.”
