Townsend’s guitar sold for £49,250, which was double the estimate. |

Listen to The Who at Tanglewood
Written by admin on April 27, 2010 – 9:39 pm -Just got an alert from Crawdaddy.com to say that there is a great concert from The Who now being streamed over at Wolfgang’s Concert Vault.
Wolfgang’s concert vault is a brilliant resource for music fans and this latest concert is well worth your time. It is The Who’s appearance at Tanglewood on July 7, 1970. Tanglewood is a renowned classical music venue located in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts. The Who’s appearance was part of a series of concerts at Tanglewood put on by promoter Bill Graham in 1970. They headlined a bill that included It’s A Beautiful Day and Jethro Tull.
