Ray Davies cancels tour
Written by admin on November 23, 2010 – 7:36 pm -Ray Davies has cancelled tour dates in the US on the advice of doctors.
A spokesperson for the former Kinks frontman said:
| “Ray personally did not want to cancel this tour but was ordered by his doctors not to fly or travel until his medical condition has stabilized to their satisfaction. At this moment, his doctors could not provide a time frame as to when he could travel to the US.” |

Song of the Week #25 – “You Really Got Me”
Written by admin on October 25, 2010 – 6:42 am -| The Kinks’ innovative 1964 rocker “You Really Got Me” is this week’s Song of the Week.
The song was released as a single in August 1964, backed with “It’s All Right.” It also closed side one of their debut album “Kinks”, which was released in October 1964 in the UK. The US version of the album was shortened and retitled “You Really Got Me.” |

Ray Davies returns to Glastonbury
