Kinks bassist Peter Quaife dies

Justin Hinds and Keith Richards The original bass player with the Kinks, Peter Quaife, died on Wednesday (June 23) aged 66. No cause of death has been revealed, but Quaife had been undergoing kidney dialysis for many years.

Do It Again – Quest to reunite the Kinks

The movie “Do It Again” traces the efforts of Boston Globe reporter Geoff Edgers to reunite the Kinks. The hilarious documentary will go on general release later this year and has featured at a number of recent film festivals, including the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, the Atlanta Film Festival, the Nashville Film Festival and the Independent Film Festival Boston.
