Stephen Stills has formed a new blues rock trio called The Rides with guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Electric Flag keyboardist Barry Goldberg. The Rides will release their debut album “Can’t Get Enough” on August 27 in the US and May 28 in Canada.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young are releasing a live album from their 1974 reunion tour. The as yet untitled album is expected to be released on August 27.
Graham Nash told Rolling Stone:
“It’s going to f—in’ stun people. We only multi-tracked eight or nine shows from the tour, and we’ve chosen the best from those gigs. We’ve had to do a little tuning, but not that much…But the spirit of the band! If I take myself out the band and look at it, it was a f—in’ great band.”

|Buffalo Springfield have postponed their 30-date reunion tour for the second time.
The original members of the group, Richie Furay, Stephen Stills and Neil Young, played their first gig together for 42 years last summer and originally planned an extensive tour for around October of this year, before putting it back to early 2012. Now the plan is to tour at an unspecified time later in 2012.

Neil Young became the 20th recipient of the MusiCares Person of the Year award on Friday night.
|The Grammy Week event was held at Los Angeles Convention Center on 29 January, with more than 2,000 people in attendance. The host Jack Black was reportedly in hilarious form as he introduced a lineup of nearly 30 artists performing 20 Neil Young songs.|
