Paul McCartney and Paul Simon to appear on Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary

Paul McCartney and Paul Simon will be present to help “Saturday Night Live” celebrate its 40th anniversary on February 15th.

The three-hour “SNL 40” show will also feature musicians Kanye West and Justin Timberlake, actors such as Alec Baldwin and Tom Hanks, and returns for some of the show’s most famous alumni, including Eddie Murphy.

Mick Jagger hosting “Saturday Night Live” tonight

Mick Jagger will host the season finale of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” tonight.

With the addition of Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire and Jeff Beck as musicial guests, the show promises to be as much about music as comedy. Unfortunately, unless a big surprise is planned, the recent speculation that the Rolling Stones might perform on the show was just wishful thinking.

McCartney at the 100 Club

Paul McCartney to play 100 Club Sir Paul McCartney will play at London’s 100 Club on Friday lunchtime. With a capacity of just 300 seats, this will be McCartney’s smallest gig since he played the Cavern Club in Liverpool in 1999.
