Ronnie Spector pays tribute to Amy Winehouse
Written by admin on July 28, 2011 – 11:52 am -Ronnie Spector has told Rolling Stone of her devastation at hearing of the death of Amy Winehouse.
Ronnie, who overcame her own problem with addiction in the 1990s, said:
| She had such a great soul in her voice and her lyrics were so amazing that I couldn’t help but sing one of her songs. I was so happy to see an artist like Amy, because she reminded me of my youth. |
