Brian May celebrates his 65th Birthday today and we are marking the occasion with 10 of his greatest performances with Queen.

The guitar legend was born on June 19, 1947 in Hampton, London, and would become one of the finest guitarists that the UK has produced.

A new documentary titled “Freddie Mercury – The Great Pretender” will be released by Eagle Rock Entertainment on DVD and Blu-ray in September.

“Freddie Mercury – The Great Pretender” was produced and directed by Rhys Thomas, who searched the Freddie Mercury archive for rare interviews, concerts, video shoots and personal material, much of which will be seen for the first time.

Freddie Mercury to appear in “We Will Rock You” musical

Freddie Mercury will feature in a 10th anniversary performance of the West End musical “We Will Rock You” on May 14.

Freddie’s former bandmate, Brian May, told the BBC that the production team had been working on ways to include the late singer in the production, but that they will not be using a hologram effect. May describes the approach as “an optical illusion of sorts” and claims that “People will come out saying, ‘did we actually see Freddie?'”.
