John Fogerty confirmed for ACM Awards

John Fogerty has been added to the list of performers for the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on April 18.

The former lead singer of Creedence Clearwater Revival is currently on tour promoting his latest solo album “The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again.” This is a great follow up to his first solo album from 1973, “The Blue Ridge Rangers.”

Neil Young receives person of the year award

Neil Young became the 20th recipient of the MusiCares Person of the Year award on Friday night.

Neil Young - MusiCares Person of the Year The Grammy Week event was held at Los Angeles Convention Center on 29 January, with more than 2,000 people in attendance. The host Jack Black was reportedly in hilarious form as he introduced a lineup of nearly 30 artists performing 20 Neil Young songs.

Star-studded Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame shows

Two fantastic concerts took place last week at Madison Square Garden to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts at MSG  The first concert on Thursday 29 October  ran four and a half hours and featured  brilliant performances from Simon and  Garfunkel, Bruce Springsteen and the E  Street Band, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel,  Jackson Browne, Crosby, Stills & Nash, John  Fogerty, Sting, Smokey  Robinson, Jerry Lee  Lewis, B.B.
