Jim Morrison – 40th anniversary
Written by admin on July 3, 2011 – 8:30 am -Jim Morrison died forty years ago today in Paris, France aged just 27. Morrison had moved to Paris four months before with his girlfriend, Pamela Courson, after finishing work on the album “L.A. Woman.”
News of Morrison’s death was not made public until after he was buried several days later in Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris. Thousands are expected to gather at the cemetery today to pay tribute to Morrison.

Jim Morrison – musical tribute

Jim Morrison was found dead in Paris, France on this day in 1971. The lead singer of the Doors had been living in Paris since March of that year and was discovered dead in his bathtub. |
