Previously unseen footage of Elvis at Madison Square Garden
Written by admin on October 10, 2012 – 7:56 pm -A brief clip of Elvis performing “Suspicious Minds” at Madison Square Garden has heightened anticipation for the forthcoming “Elvis – Prince From Another Planet” 2CD/DVD box set.
Rolling Stone posted a preview of the previously unseen amateur footage taken during Elvis’ afternoon performance of June 10, 1972. The complete footage runs around 20 minutes and it will be a big selling point for “Elvis – Prince From Another Planet,” which also includes remixed/remastered editions of the afternoon and evening shows, and footage of the press conference given to promote the gigs.

“Elvis – Prince From Another Planet” will be released as a 2-CD/DVD set containing remixed editions of the afternoon and evening shows from June 10, 1972, previously unseen footage from the afternoon show, and footage of the press conference. Remastered editions of the shows will also feature on a 2-CD Legacy Edition of “Elvis: As Recorded At Madison Square Garden”. |
