Who are the UK’s top music earners?

Sir Paul McCartney remains the wealthiest UK rocker, according to the Sunday Times 2011 Rich List. McCartney’s estimated £495 million fortune puts him at fourth on the list of UK music millionaires, behind musical theatre impresarios Lord Lloyd Webber (£680 million) and Sir Cameron Mackintosh (£675 million), and Zomba Records co-founder Clive Alder (£1.3 billion).

Footage surfaces of Elton John & John Lennon at MSG

Footage has finally emerged of the night in November 1974 when John Lennon joined Elton John on stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Seeing the pair perform together is significant enough in itself, but the importance of the footage is heightened by the fact that this was Lennon’s last ever concert appearance.
