Unseen Beatles photos to be auctioned
Written by admin on April 24, 2012 – 10:54 pm -Twenty unseen black-and-white photographs of The Beatles are to auctioned after lying in a family photo album since 1964.
The photographs were taken by Peter Allchorne at Pinewood Studios, where The Beatles were filming their first movie “A Hard Day’s Night” in March 1964.

Unseen Beatles photos sell for $360,000
Written by admin on July 21, 2011 – 11:52 pm -| Unseen photographs of The Beatles’ debut American concert have sold at auction for $360,000 (£223,600).
Teenage photographer, Mike Mitchell, captured the images on February 11, 1964 during the band’s historic show at the Washington Coliseum. The negatives had been stored for years in a box in Mitchell’s basement. |

Rare Beatles photos on display in Liverpool
Written by admin on August 24, 2010 – 5:50 pm -Newly discovered photographs of The Beatles are going on permanent display today at The Beatles Story at Liverpool’s Albert Dock.

Photographer Paul Beriff took the photographs of The Beatles on tour with Helen Shapiro in 1963 and 1964. He recently discovered a box of around 800 negatives in his attic, which included many classic shots of The Beatles on and off stage. |
