Simon & Garfunkel Radio + classic album reissue
Written by admin on March 8, 2011 – 8:00 pm -For a limited period, fans of Simon & Garfunkel can listen to a channel on Sirius XM Radio dedicated exclusively to the legendary duo.
Simon & Garfunkel Radio features familiar songs and rarities spanning the duo’s entire catalogue, including solo projects and their early recordings as Tom & Jerry.
The station has been launched to coincide with the release of “Bridge Over Troubled Water: 40th Anniversary Edition” which came out today in the US. The UK release date is March 28.

“Bridge Over Troubled Water: 40th Anniversary Edition” includes the brilliant original album, featuring the timeless title track, as well as classics such as “The Boxer,” “Cecilia” and “El Condor Pasa.” In addition, there is a DVD containing a documentary on the making of the album and a 1969 TV special called “Songs of America” which features footage of the 1969 tour. This is the first time that “Songs of America” has been commercially available since its original broadcast. |
Simon & Garfunkel Radio will run until Friday, March 18 on Sirius Ch. 113 and XM Ch. 38; SiriusXM Internet Radio on Limited Engagements (Sirius Ch. 810 and XM Ch. 39).
