Reissue of Paul McCartney solo catalogue
Written by admin on April 21, 2010 – 9:24 pm -All the solo Paul McCartney and Wings albums are to be reissued, beginning in August 2010 with “Band on the Run.”
Paul McCartney is partnering with Concord Music Group to reissue the catalogue in digital and physical formats. Concord previously issued McCartney’s “Memory Almost Full” CD and last year’s “Good Evening New York City” CD/DVD project.
Commenting on the news, Paul McCartney said:
| “Since the release of Memory Almost Full in 2007, I’ve had a good working relationship with Concord and enjoyed our mutual love of music. I’m looking forward to continuing this relationship with the new catalog campaign. I’m always looking for new ways and opportunities to get my music to people and Concord share this passion.” |
The first reissue, “Band on the Run,” will also be available as a collector’s multi-disc edition, with enhanced packaging and bonus content.
“Jet” was one of the standout tracks on “Band on the Run.” Here’s a great live version from 1976.
