Paul McCartney covers album on the way

Paul McCartney is overseeing the recording of an album featuring covers of his solo and Wings’ songs, according to The Sun.
Billy Joel, Kiss and The Cure are among the artists who have signed up to appear on the album. McCartney’s son James has recorded a collaboration with the latter. |
No details have been revealed about which songs will be featured on the album or when it will be released.
Paul and his band are currently rehearsing for the return of his Up and Coming tour to South America, including his first ever concert in Peru on May 9. This will be followed by gigs in Santiago, Chile on May 11 and Rio, Brazil on May 22.
