Eric Clapton announces UK tour dates
Written by admin on September 17, 2012 – 7:21 pm -Eric Clapton is celebrating his 50th year as a professional musician with a series of UK concerts next year, including five nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall. His career kicked off in October 1963 when he joined the Yardbirds at age 18.
Clapton will be joined on stage for the 2013 dates by long-time collaborators Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Steve Jordan (drums), Chris Stainton (piano and keyboards), and Willie Weeks (bass); and new members Paul Carrack (organ and keyboards) and Greg Leisz (pedal steel guitar). Michelle John and Sharon White will return on backing vocals.

- 23 May – Royal Albert Hall, London.
Fans can also expect a new studio album from Clapton in early 2013.
