Eric Burdon has told Guitar International that a new album is on the way, once it has been “mixed and mastered and a title has been agreed upon.” This will be his first studio album since “Soul of a Man” in 2006. Burdon also talked about his time with The Animals and Eric Burdon and War, his friendship with Jimi Hendrix and his solo projects. |
The outspoken rocker, who will celebrate his 70th birthday on May 11, referred to Hendrix as “the loneliest guy in the crowd” and former Animals bandmate, Alan Price, as a “sociopath.” No sign of a reunion for those two then!
