Eric Burdon interview

Written by admin on April 19, 2011 – 7:31 pm -

Eric Burdon Eric Burdon has told Guitar International that a new album is on the way, once it has been “mixed and mastered and a title has been agreed upon.” This will be his first studio album since “Soul of a Man” in 2006.

Burdon also talked about his time with The Animals and Eric Burdon and War, his friendship with Jimi Hendrix and his solo projects.

The outspoken rocker, who will celebrate his 70th birthday on May 11, referred to Hendrix as “the loneliest guy in the crowd” and former Animals bandmate, Alan Price, as a “sociopath.” No sign of a reunion for those two then!

The full interview can be read at the Guitar International website.
