Dolly Parton and Blondie have both announced that they will perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Speaking on the red carpet of the NME Awards on Wednesday night, Debbie Harry told Metro: “We just heard today – we’re going to be doing Glastonbury.”
Dolly made her announcement via Twitter yesterday:
Dolly’s appearance on Sunday, June 29, will form part of her “Blue Smoke World Tour” which starts its UK leg on June 8 in Liverpool.
Here’s Dolly performing Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” in Melbourne earlier this month.
The tour will promote Dolly’s new album “Blue Smoke,” which is released in May.
