“Bruce Springsteen’s High Hopes” documentary to air in April
Written by admin on March 7, 2014 – 9:50 pm -“Bruce Springsteen’s High Hopes,” a documentary about the making of Springsteen’s latest studio album, will air on HBO on April 4 at 9:30 pm ET/PT.
The documentary was directed by Thom Zimny, who previously took the helm for “Bruce Springsteen: A Conversation With His Fans,” “The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town,” and “Wings for Wheels: The Making of Born to Run”.
“Bruce Springsteen’s High Hopes” features behind the scenes studio and rehearsal footage, live tour footage, and interviews with Springsteen and album collaborator Tom Morello.
“High Hopes” was released in January to strong reviews and reached Number One in 20 countries, including the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Springsteen and the E Street Band recently concluded a successful tour of Australia and New Zealand, and will begin a US tour on April 6 at Reunion Park, Dallas.
The E Street Band will receive the Award for Musical Excellence at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Brooklyn on April 10.
“High Hopes” is available in standard and deluxe editions. The latter features a DVD of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performing the entire Born in the USA album at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on June 30, 2013.
