Brian Wilson is likely to reunite with the Beach Boys for writing and recording projects in the near future, according to Mike Love. It’s not clear whether or not there are plans for Wilson to join the band on tour.

Mike Love told the Las Vegas Sun:

This is good news for Beach Boys fans, but is far from a full reunion of the original line up. Both Dennis and Carl Wilson are no longer alive and Love makes no suggestion that Al Jardine is to be involved with future plans. Al has his own touring band, Endless Summer, with his sons.

The Beach Boys tour starts in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on June 25, before hitting Europe and then the US.
