Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival line-up

Written by admin on February 15, 2011 – 8:18 pm -

The tenth annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, will feature some of the biggest names in the music world, both old and new.

Among the veteran artists joining the likes of Florence + the Machine, Mumford & Sons and Arcade Fire at the June festival are Gregg Allman, Robert Plant & the Band of Joy, the reunited Buffalo Springfield and rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson.

The surviving members of Buffalo Springfield reunited for last year’s Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, California. This reunion featured original members, Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay, with Rick Rosas and Joe Vitale standing in for Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin, respectively. This will be the band’s only festival appearance in 2011, but David Crosby has hinted to Rolling Stone that the original band members plan to tour later in the year.

This isn’t the only reunion planned for the festival. Dr. John and The Original Meters are scheduled to play their 1974 collaborative album “Desitively Bonnaroo” from which the festival takes its name.

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival takes place from June 9 to 12 and will be broadcast on television and online by NPR. Here’s the amazing complete line-up, which is subject to change:
